FALLEN RAINMAN. Ray Austin shows no eagerness
to rise,

"
Rainman Ray Austin lost the fight two weeks
earlier, in the Gym. Before that he would
only give me three rounds of sparring, twice
I got four rounds, and we would go at a very
fast pace.
I would take it to him. As
soon as he was tired, three rounds on, Austin
would tell his coach to get me out and put
in the other sparring partner, his good friend,
and they would just go through the motions.
It was sickening - and to give
himself even less chance, he did not even
show up for the last week of sparring.
I was there every day, gloved
up and waiting. He was worried because I hit
him with good shots.
He has not got the Heart of
Lamon Brewster. Brewster was getting hit every
day in sparring, but his body and resistance
were used to it when he fought Wladimer! [
he made Wladimir quit].
. . . At the moment my training
with Magic Mark Janssen, is going great, He
is the best trainer in Australia, I believe. We
are working on new things, a lot of leverage.
I will be in the best shape
and best style of my career when I see action
in April. This is the year I will be Heavyweight
Champ. You can print the whole lot. Thanks.
