Jose Luis Castillo flew the Atlantic this week to join Ricky Hatton in Manchester for the official announcement of their Las Vegas match, June 23.

The Mex lent the Hitman one of his Mexican straw hats, to provide cool pics.

Castillo has left the lightweight ranks, making one less boulder in the path of Mick Katsidis’ climb to undisputed champ.

Jose Luis is in the Ruben Olivares tradition. He went 39 fights before extending the full distance (34 KO wins, 4 KO by).

Co-promoters, Dennis Hobson and Bob Arum said Hitman Hatton would undertake a three and a half month training regimen that will end with three weeks in Las Vegas.
