Kali standing 9 ft tall

WHAM .. Kali unloads on Brewster in Las Vegas

KALI Meehan is training with newfound confidence since he found himself a star on the streets of New York.

"It was, 'Mee-hann! you uncrowned champ!' up and down 7th Ave," said Magic Mark Janssen, "Kali must have signed two hundred autographs."

The Austral heavyweight's "moral victory" over Lamon Brewster has lifted his recognition. Next time, Madison Square Garden against Hasim Rahman 13 November, can confirm Meehan nine feet tall like the Don King poster.
Tito Trinidad's Puerto Ricans claim Kali as one of them.

Meehan is training at Woolloomooloo Police Boys Club, where the walls display Jimmy Carruthers. A great forerunner by half a century.
"Sparring King Kava seems easier to him now," said Uncle Ted Allen. "Our Kali has come of age."

His other Sydney workouts are in the Parramatta Eels football stadium.

Overcome Rahman, he could be fighting next for the WBA title against the 11/13 survivor, John Ruiz-or Andrew Golota.
